April 5 Sunday Snipets
A Review of Sunday with an Encouragement for Monday

Easter Sunday is alway a special time at Cornerstone. The focus of the entire day was the victory of Jesus at the Resurrection. The Sunday School hour examined the appearances of Jesus after His resurrection as well as the power that the resurrection gave through the Holy Spirit.
In the Morning Preaching Service, Pastor Cowan preached an encouraging message entitled, "Then Came the Morning." It was a dark time in Jerusalem while Christ was in the tomb, but then came the morning of Christ's Resurrection and light once again shown in a dark world. You can listen to that message here: https://vimeo.com/1178290496
In the Evening Preaching Service, we were challenged by a powerful message entitled: "It's Not About the Bread." This sermon encouraged us to notice the big picture of serving Christ. You can listen to that message here: https://vimeo.com/1180303071
The Lord's victory the first Easter give the Christian power and hope in a dark world. We must live in that power and victory. We must also see that God has a plan for us in everything that He asks us to do. It is not about the little tasks, but rather the big picture and what God is accomplishing in and through us.
