February 15 Sunday Snipets
A Review of Sunday and an Encouragement for Monday
The Lord met with us thi Sunday. We had a wonderful time in the Sunday School hour as well as the Morning and Evening Preaching Services. In Sunday School, the classes looked at different things that God wants us to give unto Him from 1 Chronicles 16.
In the Morning Service, Pastor Cowan encouraged the church to grow in our faith. He preached a message entitled "When Your Faith is Increased" from 2 Corinthains 10:15-16. In the Evening Service, the church was challenged by a timely message entitled "How to Win Them". Pastor showed them importance of sharing the Gospel with the lost, and how that wisdom will compel us to be witnesses. As we begin a new week, let us be dedicated to having a growing faith. Let the Lord work in your heart and yeild yourself to the Holy Spirt. Let us also determine that we will be Christians that are sharing our faith and the Gospel of Christ with a lost and dying world.
