A Review of Sunday and an Encouragement for Monday
Sunday, March 22 was a wonderful Sunday at Cornerstone. We continued our study of the Apostles of Christ in the Sunday School hour, looking at the Apostle James.
In the Morning Preaching Service, Pastor Cowan preached a message entitled, "The Four Looks of the Lord's Supper". This timely message reminded us of the price Christ paid at Calvary. In the Evening Preaching Service, we were challenged by a message from Acts 28 entitled, "Don't Let That Viper Stop You." This important message focussed on the importance of not being an accuser as well as not letting accusation keep us from going forward for God. In this special Easter season, let us be determined to remember what Christ did for us at Calvary. Also, we must be close to the Lord so accusation do not keep us from accomplishing what the Lord has for us to do.
