A Review of Sunday with Encouragement for the Week
March 1 was a wonderful day at Cornerstone. The Lord met with us in both Preaching Services as well as in Sunday School. During the Sunday School hour, we continued our lessons on the Apostles. We looked at the life of Matthew. These studies have been very interesting and informative.
In the Morning Service, Pastor Cowan preached a challenging message entitled, "What Does Your Grace Look Like?" We examined the life of Noah to recognize that the Grace of God does not alway lead in a path of ease and comfort. Sometimes it takes us on a path of trouble, but it always leads us to accomplishing God's will for us.
In the Evening Service, the church was encouraged by a message entitled, "A Good Report." We are to thing and dwell on things of a good report so that we can also have a good report.
Each service is an opportunity to serve God and also have Him meet with us. Make a determination to be a part of every service at Cornerstone. You will learn in Sunday School, be encouraged in the Morning Service, and challenged in the Evening Service.
