A Review of Sunday and an Encouragement for Monday
Sunday, February 1 was a great day at Cornerstone. In the Sunday School hour we continued to look at the types of Giver that we can be:
- Non-giver
- Deceiver Giver
- Obstinate Giver
- Regretful Giver
- Opportunistic Giver
- Want Too Giver
What an encouragement to be faithful to give how the Lord has instructed us to give.
In the Morning Preaching Service, Pastor Cowan challenged the church with a message entitled "Growing Thereby" from 1 Peter 2. It went with our yearly theme of "Grow in Grace." You can view that message here: https://vimeo.com/1159490667
The Evening Preaching Service was a great time of fellowship, singing, and preaching from God's Word. Pastor brought a timely message entitled "Answered Prayers" from the book of Nehemiah. Let us be Christians who are diligently seeking spiritaul growth and maturity in our lives. Let us also decide that we will be Christians of prayer, have confidence in prayer, and share the answers to prayer God grants us.
